A 1930’s large detached house and garden with two accesses of Mock Tudor style characteristics of the inter-war years influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement retaining many original features throughout. The property served as a ARP [Air Raid Precautions] Headquarters and used by local Army personnel during World War Two, with an underground shelter providing further evidence of its wartime role.
The garden, of an acre comprises of mainly lawns, trees and formal boundary hedge screening. The front of the property is served by two gated access with a large gravel drive. The rear access is served by electric wooden gates to an informal area of grassland.
